Can I use Decoline loose lay over under-floor heating? While also durable and beautiful to look at, Decoline Loose Lay is able to be installed over underfloor heating systems. Decoline Loose Lay is suitable for installing over under-floor heating systems, providing they have been insulated so that the surface temperature does not exceed 29*C. Decoline Loose Lay is warmer and softer underfoot than stone and ceramic tiles making it a popular choice for bathrooms, kitchens and conservatories. However, Decoline’s floors can also be laid over under-floor heating systems for extra warmth. When visiting your local retailer, do remember to mention under-floor heating when selecting your floor. If you are arranging for installation of under-floor heating or have an existing system, we recommend making a note of the manufacturer and model. Your Decoline installer will need to ensure that your heating system is compatible with our flooring. We provide full guidance to our flooring installers about sub floor and adhesive preparation when laying Decoline floors over under-floor heating systems.
